It is easy to get your cat to play with it. Just grab some of her favourite treat and pout it inside. As soon as she push it the first time she will learn that she can this way get to the treat.
How to print:
In my expiriens printing a ball is allways kinda hard. But here are some things that will help you.
- Use a Raft or Brim
This will help so it holds better to the buildplate. You will see that at the bottom is one of the hex hole so there is not a single point of contact to the sphere, but instead a bigger contact area where is the border of the hex hole. - Use support for the bottom.
This will help with the overhang. But dont use it for the full half anotherway you will have a hard time to remove the support. only cover like ⅓ of the sphere with support. This will also prevent the sphere from tipping over mid print.
