Neon LED Light Bar and Riser for Bambu X1C

This is a riser bar with LED lights for your BambuLab X1(C) making use of the newer Neon style LEDs so there is no need for connectors as the channel runs smoothly around the edge of the riser.

I designed this for maximum light effect so the Neon strip runs around the riser twice for double the light. I have had no issues at all with the light interfering with the LiDAR or other sensors so far.

There are two versions one with the cable coming out of the rear on the left and one on the right.

You need to trim your light strip to fit and then secure it with a couple of dabs of CA Glue or contact adhesive. It is best to start by having just the end of the wire sticking out and then push the rest of the light strip into the channel, cutting it off at the correct point at the end of the channel. This ensures that with the glass plate in you get a nice clean seal to prevent draughts.

As with other versions this also includes TPU inserts to protect your glass lid. These match up by aligning the matching shapes in the TPU and riser bar pieces to help everything line up nicely. Alternatively some soft weather stripping will work just as well and save you some effort!

Given the temperatures that the print chamber can reach I would recommend printing the riser parts in PETG at a minimum or ABS/ASA as a great choice.
