Description
I was looking for a cheap 900M soldering iron with temperature control for my CNC kitchen tools, as the tools do not fit into my Ersa soldering station. I found this one at a well-known mail order company.
To keep everything together I designed this box.
To be able to print everything without support, some parts are printed separately. The box also has inserted holders for the spare soldering tips and insert tools.
To make the hinges more precise and durable I used these brass hinges with 10 mm diameter.
The following parts are also needed:
2 brass inserts M4
2 countersunk screws M4 x 10 mm
4 pieces Neodyn magnets 6x3 mm
The print files are made for the i3 MK3S with MMU and printed with PLA. The Box uses the whole width of the printbed and I had no luck using this size with PETG.
The boxes for the inserts are printed in vase mode, so you have to print them one by one. You can set this in the 3mf by yourself with the printable option of the place parts, but the gcode is added as well for every single box.
