Customizable Ikea cart holster - Holds stapler, scissors + more (parametric)

This holster gives you a dedicated spot to hang stuff off your Ikea rolling cart. The design snaps on over the curved lip of the organizer cart and has chamfers, so the stapler (or whatever) slides in and out easily.

The original model was designed to hold my Swingline 444 and was named “But my stapler” after the famous quote from Office Space's character, Milton. Turns out it's good for holding other stuff too.

The source f3d file is included, and the hole in the holster can be customized.

Custom holster dimensions

The f3d source file uses “named parameters,” which allows you to change values to custom fit whatever you want to hang off your cart.

• Download the f3d file
• Open the f3d file with Fusion 360 
• Click modify > change parameters, and adjust width and depth to holster whatever you like. 
• Export the model as .stl or .3mf 
• Put it in your slicer 
• Go watch Office Space while it prints
