Playdate Fishing Grip + Keychain

At last, we have a Fishing Rod for the Playdate! There are a few (and more) fishing games coming, but we all know this had to exist at some point, right?

• It does Not feature a functioning reel. I taped the monofilament to the back for aesthetic purposes. I've linked the Basic Fishing Rod model I used for this if someone wants to remix it and make the Grip functional. 
• The Playdate Keychain that I have on the ‘hook’ is scaled down from an earlier Playdate Dummy model that I can't seem to locate. Happy to link it if anyone recognizes it!

The hole in the bottom right of the tray is there if you want to secure the playdate to the grip via monofilament or some other fine chain. I used this when lending out the Playdate a public showing. You could also attach cell phone charms there? Go nuts!

To secure the playdate, I used a sticky 2mm furniture pad as pictured, but anything that gives the system a bit of pressure on the top right should do to wedge it under the tray edges. The Playdate stays in via pressure and can be popped out easily by hand. I rotate it in very slightly starting from the bottom right. I have been using it this way for months with prototypes, and it has been very secure. Just make sure yours feels good before getting too wild. 

Note: The tray seems EVER so slightly looser on this grip than the Banana or Controller Grips. It could maybe be scaled down by .05% if that is a problem for your prints. Or you could use something different to wedge it in. 

Also Note: I'm not teasing a fishing game from ART7 with this. Just making cool Playdate Accessories!
