Description

These models are based off of a MIC-KEY low profiled g-tube designed  at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. It's intended use is for medical education and fostering medical play opportunities.  There are two models, one with the g-tube closed, the other open. Neither model include the inner tubing or internal retention balloon. As the models are printed in PLA, it is rigid and not flexible unlike the actual device. Models are designed to scale but can be adjusted in the slicer to fit teddy bears, education dolls, or other resources as needed.

Print requires supports and is recommended to print at a 45° angle for strength and easier support removal. Typically printed using .12 layer heights and 20% infill.

THIS MODEL IS ONLY APPROXIMATELY REPRESENTATIVE OF ACTUAL MEDICAL HARDWARE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR MEDICAL REFERENCE
