Description
These modifications / addons are for the do-it-yourself Rook MK1 printer.
This base consists of two printed pieces (a main body and a rear cover) and features provisions for the following:
This piece not only provides support for mounting a NEMA 17-driven extruder, but also a method of organizing and concealing wires at the top side of the printer.
This piece allows for the mounting of a Z-axis endstop equipped with a plug disconnect.
Remove that flimsy spring steel from your Z-axis endstop and use this solid contact pad instead. The default STL file assumes 6mm between the base of your bed frame and the top surface of the switch body. However the design is parametric. STEP and Fusion 360 (F3D) files are included which will allow you to fine tune this design to your needs.
These are DXF files for cutting Polycarbonate or Acrylic side and base panels. They are specific for a Rook MK1 that was built with 350mm rods. If your rods are shorter or longer you will need to modify these files accordingly. You can use a service such as Send Cut Send to get clear Polycarbonate cut.
