Description
Printed in PLA. Used brass inserts for the supports and the ADXL holder on the fan cover. The back support includes a cutout for insertion of a cable tie if wanted, may or may not fit your cable ties.
I used 3mm bolts for all connections.
NOTE: The clearances are pretty tight for the ducts in regards to the delta arms. After fitting, test the extremities of printer head to make sure the ducts aren't rubbing or bumping into anything. I tested by powering the printer down and manually moving the head in circles just above the bed. I've adjusted this multiple times to clear the arms, but guessing all printers are slightly different.
I haven't noticed any effects of the additional weight, once fitted I just redid the input shaper calibration.
I run my fans at 50% (for PLA) now and let them go up to 100% for bridges. Nice to know I have headroom in case I have to tackle a difficult overhang.
Be sure to checkout the duct remix from Nyndroth. He adjusted it for those that are having spacing issues when trying to fit the leveling sensor.
Thanks to SmarterTec for the 5015 holder idea, I remodeled it to fit within my design.
