Description
It would appear that I've been making a lot of diving-related hangers recently. So here's another one. This one is intended for my regulators, although you could hang other stuff from it. Judging by the shape of its lower part, maybe it could even be repurposed as a grappling hook, although I would obviously not recommend using it for that.
Anyway, you'll need an M4x40 bolt, three M4 washers, an M4 >nyloc< nut, and an M4 9 mm outer diameter axial (thrust) bearing. I got the bearing from here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225144154925 (select F4-9M). You may be able to get them cheaper elsewhere, I didn't look very hard.
As shown in one of the photos, the order of parts is: bolt, washer, lower part, upper part, washer, bearing, washer, nyloc nut.
The bearing allows the hanger to swivel around the hook. Don't tighten the nyloc nut or it won't swivel. If you don't need the swiveling action, then you can do without one of the washers and the bearing and can replace the nyloc nut with a standard M4 nut. Obviously tighten the nut against the bolt in this case.
