Description
This is a way to mount several filament spools and buffers on the back of a Voron 2.4 or Trident. It keeps most of the original ERCP parts and only changes the cross piece and includes a newly designed frame mount, spool rest, spine, and latches.
The new latches have a clip to help route the PTFE tube. There are three angles identified by dots modeled in the side:
The cross piece has some slight edits to add a clip to the bottom and give the wheel some extra clearance. You might be able to get away with using the original cross piece, but it's recommended to use the included, edited, version.
The “Left" and “Right” naming convention assumes you are looking at the printer from the front. Each spool should unwind away from the center of the printer and the output tube should face the center.
The spine will need support to properly print. All other parts can be printed without supports.
The frame attachment piece has hole for two screws, but only only using the top hole seems to work fine.
The frame attachment piece, spool rest, and spine use the same slot dimensions. If you wanted to, you could remove the spool rest and attach the buffer directly to the frame. I'm not sure why you would want this, but you have the option.
