Description
This print makes it easier to tune your violin by helping you visualize the pitch of the notes. Choose which string you want to tune by selecting it using the 4 push buttons (they represent the strings), and the LED indicator will let you know what string you have chosen. The LED bar to the left, will display how off your note is based on what its built in sound sensor hears, allowing you to tune your instrument to perfection. For this device, print both parts, then assemble by placing an Arduino Uno in the large compartment and a 9-volt battery in the small one. Then, place in 4 push buttons and their respective 5mm LEDs and 3, 5mm LEDs for the tune indicator bar. You will also need a sound sensor, to program the Arduino to hear the specific frequencies of each string. Wire everything together and close it up with m3 screws and bolts. It is a great print for aspiring musicians!
This was entered for the Lights competition as it involved the use of LEDs to visualize pitch and tone.
This model was created using Fusion 360.
