Description
A twist on the common reading ruler. The sliding block on the rail can be used to narrow down the line to one word or a part of a word for sounding out. Two sliders can be put on the rail to block on both sides of a word. The clearance on the joint allows for a lot of wiggle room in printer tuning. it can be printed at .2 layer height and work fabulously.
A brim is recommended to ensure the slider prints well. The small footprint above the rail groove can warp a bit.
Four different models supplied, 6 and 8 inch lengths with ¼" and ½" windows for different sized fonts. It's useful for helping kids focus and adds a “cool factor” with it being a gadget rather than a simple piece of plastic.
Happy Printing!
