Hood strud for rc car 3dsets model 7 buggy

As I am building the model 7 Buggy from 3Dsets.com, I was missing a hood strut to keep the hood open.
This can be handy when working on the receiver, which on this model is located under the hood, or just to keep the hood open when on display.

it's printed in 3 parts. The hood_strut and hood_strut_hinge clip together after printing. Carefull not to break the hinge,. It's a tight fit.
Once together, the hinge has enough tolerance for movement.

The hood_strut_clip is used to keep the strut secure when it's not in use and to keep it from ratling while driving.

I used hotglue to glue the hinge and clip to the underside of the hood.

I placed the strut ontop of the “gastank”, which has some nice slots to keep the strut in position.
