Snap Fit LED Mounts for Carbon Fiber Tubes

I designed this specifically to fit the 16mm skid struts on the Readytosky ZD550 frame, but you should be able to modify it for other applications. The Fusion 360 file is fully parametric, though it may be a little error prone if you significantly alter the tube diameter.

All parts are snap fight with a tight tolerance. Scale them up slightly if your printer tends to over-extrude vertical interior walls.

Included is a dxf file for laser cutting (or generating a CNC toolpath for) an acrylic window to snap on top. There's also an stl if you wish to print the window from transparent/translucent material.

I used 5050 LED strips with 144 LED/meter spacing along with JST-PH (2mm pitch) soldered connectors.
