Description
Tray system for IKEA SAMLA boxes (5l or 11l) as nursery of seeds or cuttings / cloning for hydroponic propagation.
The nursery makes already use of the final pots meant for example for the hydroponic tower. It holds up to 6 of the standard size pots (or alternatively also the smaller height pots for a 5 planter module. The pots you can find directly in the models referred from the remix section and the tray has the same locking mechanism as the tower itself
This inlay sits directly on the inner edge of the SAMLA box and no further fixes are required. For the standard pots there is 3-5mm space between pot and box for the roots to develop before the pots are transplanted to the hydroponic tower
There are optional legs which can be attached in the 4 corners in increase flexibility for temporary or permanent use of other boxes. When using the 11l Samla boxes 2 of the inlay fit in the boxes with a small gap. But I recommend to use the legs with these as the inner edge on the side (handle) of these boxes sits slightly higher than frontal smaller edge and therefore the track would not sit completely horizontal.
Especially the 5l SAMLA box can be used as a greenhouse (either in the early days with just the regular cover or later with a second upside down box as proper greenhouse when needed. Additional connectors for these are currently in the prototyping and will be added to this model at a later stage

Attention:
The print needs a print bed of 252mm or bigger which fits well on a Bambulab P1P / X1C but exceeds the current Prusa MK3S+ size.
For the MK3S there is a specific slightly 2mm smaller 3MF file in the download section for your convenience.
