Description
Containers for storing loose tea in bags. The containers are not airtight, so the original tea should be kept inside in a bag. This prevents airing.
The boxes are designed so that they can be stacked on top of each other.
There is an indentation in the bottom and an embossing on the lid.
I made two boxes in white and decorative elements for four types. I made boxes in white but I think they will also look beautiful in other colors. Maybe even better! I see black, with a gold decorative element on the background (now yellow) a red sun and black lettering of the name of the tea. Or more Chinese style - all red with gold and black accessories.
I designed decorative elements in such a way that they matched my experiences related to the taste of a particular type of tea. Decorative elements can be mixed if your experience is associated with other shapes.
I made decorative element for teas: ulung, darjeeling, genmaicha, lapsang, but there are many other varieties of tea, project is developmental.
Design of the container was inspired by japanese tea rooms with courtines and the most popular nature elements: water, air, flowers.
The yellow element was based on a free license pattern from freepik.com
https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/japanese-inspired-pattern-vector-set_3456023.htm#query=japanese%20pattern&position=4&from_view=search&track=ais .
I redesigned the font https://www.dafont.com/tokyo-midnight.font
After printing, I see that the box should still have a flex seal. This would lift the lid slightly and the tea would not air out. Then the container would look like the last photo. But I'll leave that for the next work on this prototype.
