Description
I needed a spinner for a durafly goblin so I decided to design one. The default model is 70mm wide and 50mm tall, it should fit most 8x6 and there-abouts propellers.
The cone attaches to the bottom with some short 2mm thick self-tapping screws (the screws that you normally get with 9g servo's).
note: the initial version exploded on a high RPM motor. I've redesigned the cone to grab onto the base plate which hopefully helps it handle more RPMs.
The Cone screw-holes will need two small supports, you should use paint on supports in prusaslicer. The main body of the cone prints fine without supports.
If you print this in PLA be aware that you don't leave your plane in the hot sun or you spinner might deform. I recommend PETG or ABS or something heat resistant.
You can easily modify the size if you install fusion 360 and load the f3d file. All you should need to do it modify a few parameters and export the new model for printing.
