Description
Disclaimer: Altough I have tested it use at your own risk. Do not use a steel nut. Always wear safety goggles!
This adapter lets you use you use homemade sandpaper disks on you (broken) Dremel 402 mandrels.
I designed this because I needed a sturdy replacement for the normal way of holding sanpaper disks and so far they seem to hold up nicely with 50mm sandpaper disks.
The “bolt” part of the design is meant to be a pressfit and should be reinforced with threadlock, superglue or epoxy.
STEP and STL files are included for orginal Dremel mandrels or the quite common china knockoffs.
If the threads do not engage properly they can be “cut” with a standard m8 bolt and nut.
I would not recommed using a steel nut.
