Enhanced Crossbar Bed Mounts for Rivian

This was tested with Crossbars purchased in 2023 using ABS filament.  I do not recommend using PLA as temperatures inside the bed can get high enough to melt and deform PLA.

BOM:

• 2 x 30mm M6 Bolts
• 2 x M6 Washers

Mounting Instructions:

1. Using a small screwdriver, carefully pry the dust cover off the mounting bolts for the bed wall adjacent to the cab/gear tunnel
2. Remove the existing M6 bolts with a 10mm socket
3. Save the large washer for later
4. On each new M6 bolt, place 1 M6 washer, and the large washer you just removed on the bolt
5. Insert the new bolt through each mounting bracket and attach to the truck bed.
6. While tightening be careful to:
   1. NOT OVERTIGHTEN
   2. Adjust the large washer so it sits in the center of the mount
7. Reinstall the dust covers.
