Assa Abloy Classic style disc detainer lock

Select the key from one of the options and print the discs representing the key cuts (marked A-E)

You will also need the lock body, a sleeve, a 0 disc, a spinner disc, the clip and the sidebar.

For spacers you will need 6 of them, there are 3 thicknesses. You want to start with the thinnest one marked with S. If in the end of the assembly the spinner is not flush with the sleeve end you will need to print out some thicker spacers marked M and H.

To bias the sidebar toward the lock body you will need a spring, I used the Mul-T-Lock 4mm spring but I guess any lock spring will work.

Assembly

1. Sand all the parts with a 600 grit sandpaper until they are smooth.
2. Put the spring in the round hole of the sleeve. Check that after placing the sidebar on top of the spring it can go all the way into the sleeve smoothly.
3. Place the 0 disc first.
4. Place a spacer
5. Repeat this step for the discs based on the key cuts from the key you printed. Put the disc with the letter, put a spacer.
6. Put the free spinner.
7. Test the key, make sure that after it is turned 90 degrees the sidebar can go into the sleeve easily.
8. Remove the key.
9. Insert the loaded sleeve into the body.
10. Insert the clip through the holes in the back (by forcing its legs through the holes) so that it prevents the sleeve from falling out the back.
