A 2-piece print to replace the button cover that easily falls off Parkside 20V Batteries, to protect the exposed control board underneath. Pushes firmly into place without adhesives.
To print:
- Infill: 100%
- Layer height: 0.1mm
- Nozzle diameter: 0.4mm (0.6mm works too if the perimeter extrusion width is reduced to 0.42mm)
- Orientation: As supplied (external side face-down)
- Material: The cover should be transparent PLA / PETG (to see the LEDs underneath)
- Supports: Not needed at 0.1mm layer height
Assembly:
- Place button upside down into cover (so that gravity holds it in place)
- Hold the battery so that the hole is facing down
- Keeping these orientations, push cover into place.
Cover printed in SunLu Transparent PLA, button printed in GEEETECH Black PLA.
