Description
The advantage of this paper towel holder over others is that it is easier to get the roll on and off without bending the cardboard tube in the center. It is just a matter of releasing the pawl to let the ratchet turn freely, turning the knob to move the right end cap to the right, fitting in the roll of paper towel, and tightening the knob until it is at the right tension. From then on your life will be nothing but thrill-besotted joy and happiness.
I have mine mounted to the underside of a kitchen cabinet, but it can also be mounted to a wall.
Print one of each part except the end caps; you need two end caps.
I printed with PLA with no special settings.
NOTE: I put a notch near the center hole on the threaded rod to indicate that this faces the Ratchet-Knob. I don't remember why I did this, but it might matter.
ANOTHER NOTE: I built this using Imperial measurements so the hardware is not metric. You should be able to adapt this model to metric equiv. if that works better for you.
