Description
I designed this thing to fly 1s300 packs on a Happymodel Mobula 7 frame. It has a good friction fit on the battery, similar to a mobula6/meteor65. It snaps in place so you can keep it in several packs in a row, and pop it out easily when larger packs are called for. The design also positions the lipo closer to the cg of the quad, which is good.
No rotation or supports are needed to print it. I used PETG because that's what was loaded on my printer at the time and I got lazy, but ABS would be lighter, and TPU would offer better grip. I used 0.3mm layers, an 0.4mm nozzle, and 0.45mm line width… go with that or get creative.
Keep rippin’!
[edit: BTW, don't mind the meteor electronics and shell… it is a Mobula 7 frame I promise. I just needed the serial elrs, plus the ability to use a unify pro32 nano vtx is nice.
Also, I uploaded a V2 file that has thicker bumps so it doesn't get dislodged with hard crashes. I also added a “lite” version that works just as well, but is a bit more difficult to install. I have been flying the lite version myself.
Update… after putting more time in with the lite and v2 versions, I am finding the lite a bit frustrating to install and deal with. It's awesome if you're out to set a record or do something else special, but the v2 is just so much easier to deal with for everyday flights.]
