With the cool plate you don't need to worry about the inside of your x1c getting too hot while printing PLA. But if your using the textured plate or a Whambam plate you do. 

In these situations, it is recommended to either leave the top glass off or leave the door ajar. Since I use an AMS, removing the top glass is not really ideal. Plus, who wants to do that. 

The problem with leaving the door ajar is remembering to do it. That is why i made this latch. When using the textured plate you can slide the latch over to prevent the door from closing.

This is v1 which I have installed and I am using on my machine. I have already thought of a few design changes and v2 should be coming out within a week so make sure you check back soon for the update.

I have included a Bambu Studio project file with all the print settings I used. Add a little lube to the parts to make them slide good…More clearance is on the agenda for v2 lol. No need for additional hardware. this design makes use of the screws already in the door handle.
