Print-in-Place Hinged 18650 Battery Case

Like most things I design I had a need for this. This is a print-in-place case for 6 x 18650 batteries that uses minimal filament.

It should print in one piece and come off the bed ready to go, there are small ribs to support the batteries but also save filament and a small latch to hold it shut when closed and the batteries should fit fairly snugly but not jammed in.

Tolerance is quite tight so a well calibrated printer will ensure best results, print at 0.2 or finer layer heights for best results. I used PLA for ease of printing and it came out great.

20/03/23 - Added a 4x18650 version and on both versions I redesigned the latch to be a bit sturdier and the hinge to have a little more tolerance for easier printing.
