Description
I have several of these empty, very sturdy HatchBox spools lying around and wanted to do something useful with them. Designed these bins to fit into the spools using the holes around the edges. They are printed with a .4mm nozzle at .2mm layer height with 3 shells and 3 top and bottom layers. They are screwed into the spool with 2 12mm m3 button head bolts per bin.
The HatchBox spools have the following dimensions:
I've included STEP and STL files. If your slicer accepts STEP files, use that. STEP handles curved surfaces much better than STL.
If you have spools with other sizes and like this design, let me know and I'll do my best to generate a version for it.
I've also created a way you can turn several spool into a spinnable tower of organization.
