If you use it directly after printing, you will probably have leaks.

1) Leaks coming up from the thread: they are due to the seat of the seal not being smooth enough. If you have a lathe, smoothing it is easy. Else, you can probably clean it up with another tool (Dremel?), being careful not to damage the threads.

1. Leaks coming through the material. Depending on your printing parameters, the different layers may not be fully watertight. Brushing the part with an appropriate solvent helps a lot (in my case, for a PETG part, I used ethyl acetate for instance). Note that the part must be fully dry for this to work.

I also tried an epoxy reinforcement resin, hoping it would both fix #2 and make the part stronger, but then the threads were not fitting anymore. I don't know if it is due to the resin or to the heating needed for it to cure, maybe with a gentler heat cycle it would have been fine. If you try, and have interesting results, please comment!
