TEM grid box with a glass cover

I’ve designed the box around the size of a standard glass microscopy slide. After printing, it is placed inside the cover piece and glued with ABS juice made out of the same filament that was used for printing.

I used white ABS-ESD from kimya - it is a special kind of filament that dissipates static electricity so the grids won’t jump.

I included a PDF file with the labels and a 3mf file with four boxes (only bottom parts) placed with matching distances. It’s not super easy, because the position needs to be exact. I encourage you to try - the result looks very professional. You can always add letters and numbers with a sharpie!
