Description
The assortment box is suitable for the storage of small parts. The boxes have been adapted to an old standard with a modular dimension of 45 x 45 mm. I have made these boxes to replace the old and worn out cardboard boxes that used to fit in my drawers.
There are three different versions of the boxes that I have made so far. One of them has a shelf for labelling and a scoop for the easy picking up of small parts. One with a shelf but with a flat bottom and another simple one without a shelf. six different sizes are available for all variants, 1x1 (45x45mm), 1x2 (45x90mm), 2x1 (90x45mm), 2x2 (90x90mm), 1x3 (45x135mm) and 2x3 (90x135mm). All of the boxes have a height of 50 mm.
The model in Fusion 360 is parametric, so it is easy to change the dimensions if you want to.
In the model files, the parts are orientated in the direction best suited for printing. Use e.g. PLA for printing with a layer height of 0.2mm or less and a nozzle width of 0.4mm. A wall, bottom and top thickness of at least 3 lines and an infill of 25%. There is no need for a support structure.
Feedback is always good. If you want to encourage me or other designers to make more models, hit like and/or post your makes. If something is not good or if something is missing and can be improved, leave a comment.
