Parametric vase-mode thread spool rack

General info

Was asked to help with making a thread spool rack and chose to make a configurable OpenSCAD model - you'll need to download the program to regenerate the model if you need a different layout or you can ask nicely and I'll generate & add it to the file list. :)

The included STLs are for: 

• “small” spools - 32.8mm diameter, 33.4mm height
• “large” spools - 38mm diameter, 45.2mm height 

If there are other popular spool sizes or rack sizes you'd like, drop me a line and I'll generate them.

The spool holder will flex a bit lengthwise, but it's acceptable, since the spools are light and the saving on filament are massive. There is an X pattern on the bottom, to provide some rigidity.

Printing

Print in vase mode. 
I've tried PLA, PETG and ABS, all turned out well. 
I printed with a 0.6mm nozzle with 0.65mm line width, with 0.4mm layer height. 
If you use 0.4mm nozzle, then be sure to pump the line width up a bit if you want a sturdier print.
