Description
A novel design of a catalytic stirrers for stirred tank reactors (CSTR and BR ) that can only be manufactured by 3D printing techniques is proposed.

The blade design of the stirrer is optimized not only to provide effective agitation but also sufficient external surface area for catalyst deposition and to facilitate fluid circulation through the blade. This design feature enhances the contact between the catalyst and the reactants.
