Description
I designed this stand to elevate my desktop monitors and hold them at the right angle for better tweeter performance.
This design is now on the V2 revision which keeps the minimalist vibe but fixes some issues and adds some new features:
Both the stand and the top plate can be printed in orientations that give a nicer surface finish
The V2 revision includes an integrated cable-tidy channel for managing power, input and speaker wire
Instead of a built-in lip/edge to stop the speaker sliding off the top plate, the design now uses a separately-print retainer-clip style design. This means the top plate upper surface can have a nicer finish as you can print this part facing-down on the print bed.
See the Prusa-Slicer screenshots for extra print details. I printed all parts at 20% infill and enabled supports 'Everywhere'.Â
If you want to maximise the finish, be sure to paint the seams in your slicer to make sure they don't appear randomly or on the front of your print.
The model is designed in two parts so the top part slides into the neck of the bottom part. Supports may be required for the bottom part where the integrated cable channel might need it.Â
I used some adhesive foam strip under the bottom of the speaker for a little isolation where it sits on the stand, and also under the foot onto the desk surface.
I printed in e-sun black PLA+ filament.
Enjoy! The V1 version is still available in the downloads if you wish to print that instead.
EDIT: Added the requested JBLÂ 305P MkII size models to the list - prefixed 'JBL'
