Description
I wanted to have minimalistic mudguards for my Rose Backroad AL and found these nice ones: SKS Edge AL 46 Set [Amazon Link], Part Nr. 11494
In order to mount these on the Backroad, you need in addition to the mudguard set the extra long “Umlaufstrebe” [Amazon Link], Part Nr. 11565
The issue with the fasteners in the Set is, that the fasteners to hold the guard in place on the top of the rear require a screw hole which isn't there on the Backroad AL.
This 3D printable holder replaces the included clip and allows to hold the mudguard tight in place.
You have to use the longer metal bar from the set for the front wheel and use the extra long alternative bar to the back.
The end result is a nice, minimal mudguard set for relativly cheap.
