Ornamental Acanthus 3D Scan

This is a 3D scan of an ornamental carving on my bed frame, captured using a POP2 scanner. The scan was a little rough, so I smoothed and sharpened the model in Blender.

I have not printed the model yet, but it has a flat bottom and should not require any support.

I tried to look up what this type of decoration is called, and the closest I could find was ornamental acanthus in the Roman or Byzantine styles. If you have better information on this please let me know.
