RAM Mount Compatible Ball Adapter with AMPS Plate - B Size

A simple adapter for mounting B size RAM hardware to AMPS compatible mounting points.

• The RAM ball is size B (1 inch or 25.4mm)
• The amps plate has the standard 30x38mm pattern
• Mounting holes are sized for M4 harware (4.2mm)

The central hole can be used to reinforce the adapter with a M4 countersuck screw and a bolt, but the mount should be sturdy enough for lighter use cases even without the reinforcement if you print it with additional perimeters and higher infill.

For outdoor/automotive use it is recommended to print this from PETG/ABS or similar to avoid warping under higher temperatures. ABS, ASA or Nylon would likely be ideal for improved impact resistance and toughness

This adapter is compatible for example with the garmins charging dock for the gpsmap 66i/67 models and allows them to be adapted to use standard ram mounts.
