Description
The reason this mod is designed:
For makita contact, print out template 1:1 on paper or use part model, trace and cut from suitable conductive material. It's a bit overkill but I designed this long time ago, there are some better models and solutions nowdays. Insert into place with soldering iron, bend in place.
For parkside contact use JPT terminals (see photo), they are used in almost all german and other cars for connection on fuses and relays so you can scavenge those terminals factory crimped and tested with some extra wire. They fit and lock inside holes on parkside half.
Screws are standard countersunk head type, probably M3 with equal standard nut but I can't verify that because it is designed for screws that I had laying around in MISC box.
NOTE: Haven't tested the original makita model on original battery as there are some differences in play between original and aftermarket ones, the latter being sloppy AF
Bear in mind that messing around tool batteries may and will start a fire and the safest way is to use original battery with original tool!!!
