Description

This is a base for the GoXLR sound mixer, or anything that fits really. It has holes for optional wheel mounts to let it roll back and forth on your desk surface, and has space below for drawers or storage of other items.

I do find the wheels/bearings I have roll too easily, but the gap between the wheels and frame is just 2mm so a small wedge of some sort, even folded paper, can help keep it from moving on its own.

The sides are angled at 45 degrees, and the holes positioned so that 70mm or larger inline skate wheels will fit and leave a small gap at the bottom for my keyboard cable to slip underneath.

Since the overall width is 195mm, which is larger than my Prusa Mini+, I designed it to print in two pieces and then bolt together with 4 x M4x16 bolts. I'm sure creative types will have other ways to secure them together.

Print the MAIN parts with the rear facing down and there hopefully won't be any supports necessary. My Prusa Mini+ prints pretty slow, so your mileage may vary.

Print the DRAWERS bottom down, and I DO recommend supports along the left and right edges, otherwise the curves at the bottom front corners won't look as nice and may not match up with the main body properly.

There are some overhangs that turn slight corners of the main body, but they printed fine on my Prusa Mini+ without supports, though the new organic supports in Prusaslicer 2.6.0 Alpha can easily add some extra help in that spot if you want.
