Korbanth/89 Sabers Skinnyflex Gold Greeble "button" Spacer

I needed a way to attach the gold greeble "button" to the 89 Sabers Skinnyflex being able to remove it later with little work involved. This is designed to have a 6mm x 3mm magnet for the center. You need to glue the magnet in to where the magnet sits flush with the top. I turned it upside down applied my e6000 and pushed it in from the back while it was sitting on a surface. That way it was flush when you turn it back over. You need to put two 3mm x 1mm magnets stacked inside the gold greeble button. I also used e6000 to glue these in. After both of those have dried you need to glue the spacer into the cup on the hilt. Use e6000 for this as it can be removed relatively easy later on if need be. Then just place the gold button in and let the magnets do their work. I designed it so it would sit close to the top of the cup so it looks more like the movie prop. I printed this at 100% infill.

I just added another version that enables you to glue the spacer to the cup without ever having to remove it. You can now remove the cup and disassemble the saber without having to remove the e6000 you used to glue in the spacer. The screws are able to be removed through the added new holes.
