FLSUN Q5 12864 Ender 3 Screen Mod

This is a mod to attach the stock 12864 screen from an Ender 3 to a FLSUN Q5.

The driving force behind this mod was to use the SKR V1.4 mainboard. I wanted to be able to run my own version of Marlin on this printer but with the stock Robin Nano board I could not do that very easily. The stock screen is not compatible with the SKR V1.4 board.

I had previously switched the screen out on my Ender 3 which allowed me to have this screen available to use here.

The screen mounts to the bracket using the 4 screws that were used to mount it to the Ender 3 (I only had 3 of the 4.) They cut into the plastic on the mount. The mount attaches to the top of the printer using 2 M4x15 screws. They screw into the 2 holes that are along each side of the top panel. Currently its configured on my Q5 to sit in front of the stock screen location. I also ran the new display cable from the SKR V1.4 through the stock screen hole and plugged it into EXP3 on the screen. If you need to use EXP2, the back support piece is blocking the port.

Print this mount with the screen facing the print bed and supports are only needed to support the 2 top mounts for the M4 screws.
