This is a replacement Airway Cap for the ACTAR 911 Infantry (infant) CPR training manikin. You can see a comparison of the original piece and this model in the photos.
Design notes
The overall shape is faithful to the original piece, with some very minor adjustments.
Many of the surfaces are chamfered for easier handling, since the thermoplastics we commonly print with are harder than the original part.
Printing instructions
Due to the shape of this model, supports are required. I have provided two .stl files, one without any included supports (add your own in your slicer), and one with a custom designed support.
Choose the .stl you'd like, and print as oriented. The file with included supports is designed for a 0.2 mm layer height.
If you printed the file with supports, gently flex the piece and push the support away (press from the top; it will detach and fall out the bottom).
Cleaning and disinfection
Use a disinfection protocol appropriate to the material/process you are using.
