1:87/HO/OO Blast Furnace Model Kit

I've tried to simplify the construction as much as possible... but a blast furnace has a lot of parts.

To make it manageable, I've broken the build up into segments/folders.

The print number/mirror notes under each file are for the suggested build in the pics.

I've included a segment of roofing/siding you can resize as needed, but I suspect most modellers will have a preferred method of replicating corrugated metal from foil. The aluminum foil/spaghetti trick works. I'd suggest that, rather than spending days printing flat roofing material.

For the handrails (not including those on the loading dock), print a few of the segments and cut to length as needed.

Some of the thinner parts (walkways, skip frames, etc) tend to warp when removed from the build-plate. You can print these thicker without impacting the assembly. 

Ultimately, this model a foundation that can be detailed, kitbashed, and expanded upon in ways that the Cornerstone kit was limited.
