Description
A set of bevel gears where the pinions have half the teeth of the ring gear. This results in a 0.5 reduction in angular velocity from the drive gear to the free gear.
The holes are designed for 8mm diameter shafts, and the free gear sits on a 608 bearing. The pinion is the drive gear, and has a tooth for a shaft with a ~10mm flat. The gears are designed with no backlash, it is intended to be fabricated from a pliable non-metal material that will still work at that high a tolerance and wear in quickly.
