Description
Looking for a low power home lab with high performance networking? Upgrade your Intel NUC 12 Pro with a 10Gbe LAN module! Works out of the box with ESXI8 and Proxmox 7.4 and uses about 12 watt idle in Proxmox, 14.5 watt idle in ESXI.
Attached are two 3D models required to fit an Innodisk EGPL-T101 module into an Intel NUC 12 Pro case.
The Intel NUC 12 bottom 3D model replaces the standard bottom cover (including the 2.5 sata disk holder) and includes a honeycomb grill fan mount for additional cooling. I installed a 40x40x10mm 5 volt Noctua fan and attached the power to the header (pins 8 gnd and 9 5v DC).
The accessory plate requires two M3 nuts and the original accessory bolts for attaching it to the case. The Innodisk RJ45 port fits in the cradle behind the accessory plate and I use two M3 hex key bolts to attach it.
The cover should tightly fit around the cradle from the accessory plate.
It was my design decission to make two separate printable parts, because this allows you to print both parts with the biggest flat surface down on the print bed reducing the amount of (ugly) printing support.
Designed and tested for the Intel NUC 12 Pro model NUC12WSHv5, but I assume it is compatible with more NUC 12 Pro model.
