Description
This is a housing that I designed for holding a raspberry pi 3B+ and raspberry pi foundation 7" touch screen. I use it to run a kiosk mode of home assistant in my house. You will likely need to get a 90deg micro usb connector due to clearances. This is the one I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C7LQWCX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
There are two versions:
One Piece (hehehe): The screen and main housing are a single piece. There is still a base cover to print if you want it. This is to make for a cleaner look. I would use this one if you don't ever plan on changing wiring or tinkering on the back side of the pi. This housing is harder to work in.
Two Piece: I split the bezel that holds the pi and touchscreen from the main body. You might want this version if you have more wiring going on or want to more easily play with the wiring on the back of the pi.
