Tamiya ORV Blackfoot Gearbox Brace

This gearbox brace replaces the original skidplate. I made it in an attempt to solve the well known Tamiya ORV differential issue. The gearbox brace puts pressure on both sides of the of the differential. This should reduce the chance of the two aluminum side plates to flex outwards and allowing the differential gears to skip teeth. I can feel more resistance when trying to turn the differential, which probably means that the differential gears are now preloaded. However turning the differential in the normal driving direction seems to be unaffected by the applied pressure.

You'll need three M3x30 screws, nuts and 7mm OD washers to complete the build.
