Description
This ‘elbow’ piece fits on the inside of a 4.25hp 12 gallon Rigid Wet-Dry Vacuum and allows the use of a MultiFit Medium filter bag #VF2005. The filter bag system is much better than the original pleated canister-style filters that easily clog up. I expect this adapter would work on many other models of vacuum as well, which is why I'm sharing it here.
There is a corresponding drill guide template that lets you easily mark the drill holes from the outside. I used 6-32 hardware with a slightly larger clearance hole drilled in the vacuum's plastic housing.
