Description
Snap together case for HW-384 buck converter. Â I prefer PETG because I had problems with PLA tabs snapping off when putting the top on. Â There are standoffs on the base for wire clearance and ridges in the walls to snap the PCB into. Â I use these to put buck converters in automobiles where a bare board may contact metal and short. Â They give me a base to use VHB tape to hold them in place without worrying and are still attractive enough if left visible. Â I don't put a significant load on the ones I use, so heat isn't an issue for my application, but these are rated for 3A, so your mileage may vary.
