Description
The inexpensive WDT tool I purchased from Amazon* came with no base, but surprisingly had a threaded hole on the bottom so I could attach my own base. With some experimentation, I found that a M26x1.5 thread fit just right, so I printed up my own base, using Prusa's organic supports to end up with clean threads.
I printed this with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.15mm DETAIL with 3 perimeters, and it worked perfectly for me. Note that the WDT tool I purchased did not have a perfectly round base - most likely it was milled while the wood still had a decent amount of moisture in it, and as it dried later it went out of round - but my model seems to fit quite well. If you have fitment problems, you may want to scale the model along the XY plane to fit your own case. Good luck, and I hope your espresso tastes delicious!
