Description

This model enables you to use the MK4 display with the Original Prusa Enclosure. I think Prusa is going to be making something themselves but I didn't want to wait for that.

You do not need to modify the display or bracket, this just attaches the MK4 display bracket to the enclosure using the existing hardware.

Printed with PETG Jet Black, 0.3mm DRAFT, 15% infill

Reference this link to the assembly for reference:

Use the M3nS nut (2x) and the M3x10 screw (2x) to mount to the enclosure and keep the existing 4 screws on the MK4 display mount. They will mount through this new piece.

Assembly instructions:

  1. Install 1 M3nS nut per spacer and push it all the way in. Visually check the nut is in so the screw doesn't have an issue threading.
  2. Attach new spacer to existing MK4 display mount. The existing mount should fit snugly into the pocket on the new part. The third hole should be at the top. If it doesn't fit there may be some hanging filament from the bridging part of the print. Just trim it with a razor blade.
  3. Install 2 screws per spacer (4 total) and tighten to the bracket. The screws are recessed so they won't interfere with the enclosure
  4. Take the M3x10 screws and align the spacer hole with the existing holes on the enclosure and get one side started with a few turns. Once you feel it is threaded into the nut give it another turn or two then move to the other spacer.
  5. Install the second spacer the same way.
  6. Tighten both spacer screws down firmly.
