Micro Crankbait Fishing Lure

To be honest I've never really made lures before, I've modified spinners a bit and tied crappy looking flies before but seeing Marling Baits on youtube make the tiniest crankbait, inspired me to make a tiny crankbait of my own. 
I present to you a 30mm x 10 mm crankbait that uses a 0.70mm stainless steel wire, it's body is fully printed in two halves and tied together with short filament strands that you glue in.

Parts

For assembly you will need:
Printed parts
0.70mm stainless steel wire
A treble hook of your choosing (I used Size 10)
Pliers to cut filament and bend the wire
Superglue
High grit sandpaper to smooth out the body (400 or higher)
A sharpie

For parts print the following:

1 x Crankbait fishing lure.stl

Assembly

To create your lure, follow these steps:

1. Cut three short pieces of filament, each 6mm long. Insert them into one half of the lure body and then press the two halves together.
2. Sand the body smooth to remove any sharp layer lines that could impede its movement through water.
3. Use a knife or fingernail to split the body apart.
4. Cut a piece of wire that is about 65mm long.
5. Using pliers, form a 45-degree angle in the wire.
6. Insert the wire into the lure body to measure where your loops should go, and mark those spots with a sharpie.
7. Use your pliers to form loops at the marked locations, make sure to insert the treble hook at the tail end of the wire.
8. Trim any excess wire and fit the wire inside the lure body.
9. Use superglue to glue the two halves of the lure body together.
10. After the glue has cured, paint the lure and add eyes.
11. Finally, seal the paint with a UV-curing lacquer.

With these steps, your lure will be ready to use on your next fishing trip!
